Free admission days to museums in Krakow

Practically every normal museum (normal meaning a real museum, not a commercial tourist trap pretending to be a museum) in Krakow organises a free visit day. Unfortunately Krakow is not London, where the world’s best museums are available for free to everyone all week long. The most attractive day for free museum visits in Krakow is Tuesday. This is when you can see Krakow’s best museums for free.
Unfortunately, Wawel Royal Castle only makes some exhibitions available for free but throughout November many collections can be seen for free everyday as part of the ‘Darmowy Listopad‘ campaign. The Auschwitz Museum at the former Auschwitz camp can be seen for free every day – here we explain how to visit Auschwitz for free. There are no free tours at the Wieliczka Mine.
