Is alcohol cheap at Krakow Airport? Many travelers flying from Krakow Airport wonder about the prices of alcohol at the duty-free shop in Krakow. How much does vodka cost at Krakow Airport? Among the large stores located at Krakow Airport, a significant duty-free shop offering alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, and cosmetics stands out. After passing through security, you have the opportunity to purchase various alcoholic beverages in the duty-free shop. The prices of vodka, champagne, or cognac vary depending on whether you are flying to countries within the European Union or to non-EU countries, such as the United States or the United Kingdom. Here are the prices of selected alcoholic beverages at Krakow Airport. How much do they cost, and are the purchases worth it?

Vodka and alcohol prices at Krakow Airport

Polish Żołądkowa De Luxe vodka with a capacity of 0.5 liters costs 36 PLN for flights outside the European Union and 46 PLN within the European Union. A liter costs 65 PLN and 85 PLN, respectively. Flavored Żołądkowa Gorzka costs 45 PLN for 0.5 liters when purchased duty-free and 49 PLN for domestic flights.

Polish Luksusowa vodka costs 69 PLN per liter duty-free and 89 PLN per liter for domestic flights. Wyborowa is exactly the same price. A 0.5-liter bottle of Stock vodka costs 49 PLN when purchased duty-free and 59 PLN when purchased within the European Union.

Cytrynówka Soplica costs 36 and 46 PLN, respectively. Flavored Soplica Pigwowa vodka costs 36 and 46 PLN, respectively. Other flavored Soplice, such as the nut flavor, are the same price. Popular Żubrówka flavored with bison grass costs 35 and 45 PLN for a 0.5-liter bottle, respectively. A 0.7-liter bottle of pure Żubrówka vodka costs 55 and 65 PLN, respectively.

A liter of Polish Sobieski vodka costs 65 and 85 PLN, respectively. Polish Paderewski vodka costs 89 and 109 PLN, respectively. Chopin vodka at Krakow Airport costs 129 PLN per liter when purchased duty-free and 149 PLN per liter when purchased within the EU.

A liter bottle of Amundsen vodka costs 79 PLN when purchased duty-free and 96 PLN within the European Union. The cost of Ostoya vodka in a liter bottle is 99 and 115 PLN, respectively. A 0.7-liter bottle of Orkisz vodka costs 119 PLN duty-free and 139 PLN within the EU, respectively. A liter of Danzka vodka costs 75 and 89 PLN at the airport, respectively.

A 0.5-liter bottle of Belvedere vodka costs 89 and 99 PLN, respectively. For a liter bottle of Grey Goose vodka at Krakow Airport, you need to pay 245 PLN and 299 PLN, respectively. Moet champagne at Krakow Airport costs 185 PLN. For Hennessy cognac, you need to pay 255 or 309 PLN per liter. A 0.5-liter bottle of Ballantines whisky costs 59 PLN and 69 PLN, respectively. Beer prices are decidedly unfavorable. For a half-liter can of Żywiec beer, you need to pay 12.90 PLN. The same price at Krakow Airport applies to a can of Okocim Jasne Pełne beer, while Cieszyn beer costs 14.90 PLN.

Perfume prices


Armani Acqua Di Gio 100 ML costs 440 PLN at Krakow Airport. In a regular perfumerie in Poland, you can buy this perfume for around 489 PLN at Douglas or for 318 PLN on Empik.com. Gucci Flora 50 ML perfume costs 410 PLN at the airport, while at Sephora it costs 529 PLN, but at Douglas, you can buy it for less than 400 PLN. Kylie Lip Kit Matte 808 costs 137 PLN when purchased duty-free, while in a perfumerie outside the airport, it costs around 165 PLN. Armani Code 125 ml at Krakow Airport costs 510 PLN, while in a perfumerie, the price is around 680 PLN.

As you can see, the prices for cosmetics at Krakow Airport are decidedly more favorable compared to the full price in a drugstore in Krakow, so cosmetics are a better deal than purchasing alcohol. Note that in Poland, you can purchase tax-free, so the final prices can be more favorable than the shelf prices.
