The most popular tour route is the Tourist Route. A standard ticket for the Tourist Route in English or any other foreign language (other than Polish) costs 128 złoty for a regular ticket and 108 złoty for a reduced ticket during the low season. The price list also includes family tickets: 321 złoty for a 2+1 family ticket and 386 złoty for a 2+2 family ticket.
During the high season, prices are higher: 146 złoty (35 EUR, 29 GBP, 36 USD) for a regular ticket, 124 złoty for a reduced ticket, 366 złoty for a 2+1 family ticket, and 441 złoty for a 2+2 family ticket. Children under 4 years old can visit for free.

The second, less popular tour program at the Wieliczka Salt Mine is the Miners’ Route, available in English or Polish. This tour is available at the same prices. Prices are from 2025. Always check the official website of the mine for the most up-to-date pricing.
During the tourist season, it is worth booking tickets to the Wieliczka Salt Mine several weeks in advance. Ticket sales for a specific day begin at least 180 days in advance. Outside the peak season, it is possible to buy tickets at the ticket office on-site or at a ticket machine, but it is best to have them reserved in advance.
The mine reminds visitors to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Tickets unused due to late arrival are forfeited.

How to get there from Krakow?

As mentioned earlier, Wieliczka is a small town located just beyond the administrative border of Krakow. From the very center of Krakow, you can reach the Wieliczka Salt Mine in about 20-25 minutes by a direct train to the station Wieliczka Rynek Kopalnia for 7 złoty (EUR 1.65; USD 1.69; GBP 1.39). You can also take an Uber or Bolt for around 40 złoty, but the car is not faster than the train on this route.
If you are traveling around Poland in your own or a rented car, it is worth remembering that the paid parking zone in Wieliczka is very small and very cheap, and parking outside this zone is free.
