Is it snowing in Krakow in December?

There is a chance of snow in Krakow in December, but if it does snow, the snowfall in December is usually not heavy, and as temperatures are positive the chance of snow lasting longer is small.

Krakow may experience a few days with snowfall in December, but it will not be intense. For many years there has been no snow in Krakow even in the second half of December.

When looking for a period when there is snow in Krakow, it is better to plan your trip for the period from mid-January to mid-February. Then the chance of snowfall in Krakow is higher.

Where near Krakow is there snow in December?

Snow lasting more than a few hours or so can be expected in the mountain resort of Zakopane and other places in southern Poland closer to the mountains.

The answer to this question is generally no. In December in Krakow in southern Poland there is a slight chance of snowfall and snow lingering on the streets.
